Real impact

This page has been set up to support volunteers based on Saadiyat Island,
Abu Dhabi, who are caring for stray and abandoned cats who have nowhere else to go.

In recent weeks, the number of abandoned cats on Saadiyat has increased significantly. Many are left behind, injured, or born into conditions that make survival uncertain.

Everything we do is volunteer-led. We balance this work alongside full-time jobs and daily life. All care is currently funded through our own personal contributions.

This is not sustainable.

We often have to make difficult decisions about which cats we can help. Some receive treatment. Others have to wait. Some are left without the care they need.

That is the reality we are trying to change.

What we do

Feeding

We provide daily feeding, maintaining feeding stations to support cats that rely on consistent access to food.

TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return)

We humanely trap stray cats, have them neutered, and return them
to their territory. This helps control
the population and reduces suffering over time.

Rescue & stabilisation

We trap and assess cats in urgent need, providing immediate care for those who are injured, weak, or at risk.

Medical care

From routine treatments like vaccinations to urgent interventions, veterinary care is one of our biggest ongoing costs. This often includes infections, injuries, and dental issues common in street cats.
